We spent most of the day trying to get out and do some snorkeling today. Between low tides, weather, and just plain picking some bad sites, we didn't get to see much.

When we finally gave up, we decided to drive into town and check emails and do a little shopping. On the way back it looked like it might rain a bit so we put the computer in the 'boot' (trunk) of the scooter just in case. Good thing! We didn't get a mile down the road and it started to drizzle on us. Then it became a nasty spit. Then a real rain. Finally, it was raining so hard I couldn't see where I was going and had to pull over. By this time we were both soaking wet and laughing our heads off. Yeah, it's warm rain, but in a tank top and doing 30 MPH on a scooter, it gets a little chilly. We waited for about 10 minutes but it didn't really show any signs of letting up so we got back on the scooter and headed off. About 100 yards from our bunglalow, the sun was shining. Go figure:)

Lesson learned...never leave home without our rain gear!!!!!!!!

Until next time, stay dry,

Eric
